Linux PrevESC - Shared Server
overview
ABC University primarily teaches web application development classes. The students of the class are given accounts on an Internet facing server so that they can setup all their web application scripts on it. Unfortunately, in the zeal to be helpful, the admin seems to have shared too much with the students. Could this lead to a server compromise?
You have managed to crack a student account and get a shell on the server. Your mission is to now escalate your privileges, get a root shell on the server and retrieve the flag!
